Delicious sundae! With G-cherry on top! We like happycore!
No useful comments on mastering because I'm not that good yet. But that bass was tasty af.

Noisysundae responds:

Thanks very much. Good to know the bass is not too overwhelming.

Beautiful story, too bad it's daytime in here :(

FlyingSheep responds:

Thank you; the original idea for doing these came from not being able to find good bedtime stories that are video game related for my kids. Luckily, they enjoy them, which is good.

Children are my target audience, but hopefully I can write and create videos that all ages can enjoy. This one was fun, though. Surprisingly, they take a bit of thought and time to write.

Again, thank you for following. More should be on the way--the one I'm working one is definitely one of my favorites. It should be up at some point within the next two weeks. Spoiler: it's a Minecraft story.

Nice idea! Cute riffs! Decent vocals! The outro made me bang my head, so that's awesome.
Drums feel a little unreal though. Like you're not a drummer IRL, that kinda "unreal". But that's just me.
Who cares, this was awesome.

MetalRenard responds:

About the drums: Well... The drums are all midi grooves by a real drummer. I'm always very careful to program drums and other instruments realistically, only 2 hands and 2 feet ever used (and rarely all at once). The main drum riff is a midi groove I messed around with from Studio Drummer's grooves, the entire midi for the drum kit is also humanised (so it's not perfect, on purpose), and the timing is altered so the hits fall a few milliseconds before the beat as this gives a sense of realism and more of an edge to the song. I also know how to play drums IRL... BUT! Nothing will ever replace a real drummer, it's true. Same as with any instrument, can't replace the real thing. :)

Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you liked the song, it's been too long since I've made something new! :)

Now record a bassline on your (slightly less distorted) guitar, drop it by one octave; have fun with EZ/Superior drummer - and ta-daaaaaah! You won the internet!
Nicely recorded.

Loyir responds:

Thanks buddy. I will check out the programs. :D

Honestly, delete the intro, at least the first 20 seconds. That chord progression, all alone, almost chased me away.
You said drum and BASS, but there is no bass. My ears desperately want some bass to make love to this sick kick you made, right now. It really lacks the low end.
The keys are a little dry for my taste, reverb or delay, pick your poison, see/hear what you think.
The WAH-WAH-WAH (1:30-2:00), is throwing out some audio junk when the phase goes down (point a gun to my head, I can't remember the name of the effect).

All this above? Nitpicking. Talking "technical". Utter nonsense. You've got "something". You tried very hard not to kill me with boredom. Non-repetitive stuff is really, really rare. Good job. Keep on doing what you do (and improving too).

Domyeah responds:

You know what? You're totally right with the whole "low end" thing. I'll work on that in the future. Thanks!

I can hear the pattern obviously looping in the first 30 seconds. Don't know if anyone else will notice.
Bass in the second half of the song (IMHO) has too much treble in it and isn't positioned "down".
The last minute or so is completely random. Is it a good or a bad thing? I dunno.

But it was an awesome track. So much emotion in the beginning and the midsection made me laugh. Really awesome. And my headphones didn't explode. So much spaciousness. GG.

NorcdaChilda responds:

Thanks for the great feedback!

^ It's a heartwave *__* Audiofag. The LoopMaster. Still a nobody!
